A fast-growing, dense shrub once established, featuring vibrant pink flowers that release a delightful summer fragrance. Its berry-like rosehips, which ripen to a bright red in late summer, are a favourite of birds. New growth is mostly free of prickles, and the plant thrives in dry conditions. This species spreads through rhizomes, so allow plenty of space for it to expand.
